Happened to me once a decade or so ago in Spoons in Plymouth.

I was away with work drinking a bottle of wine. She came and sat at my table and asked if I minded her sitting there for a bit as an annoying ex was in the pub and she wanted to look like she had company. We finished the bottle and she asked if I wanted to go for a drink somewhere else. We did. Ended up back at the hotel and she left next morning.

The one and only time it's ever happened in my life.

Was fun. I'd do it again. 🤷‍♂️

Always surprises me how I even in this age of supposed equality in general women don’t feel empowered to take that initiative you know when you walk into a bar every guy there will check you out… xx

I’ve also got lucky ‘on the pull’ in my youth.

L ended up having it in a train toilet on the way home from a wales game. And I know someone who got lucky with her in the pub before I got with her, left pub and they went straight back to his for sex.

She was out on her own and hubby was at home. Since it would be our "first" engagement, and it was without her husband, I felt uncomfortable without his explicit consent. I asked her to call him so I could speak with him. She "calmed down" a little and nothing happened.

We all met together a few weeks later, but I am glad the advance offer was turned down.
