On a scale of one to ten, how cold have you been the past week.

For some reason I found it really cold, despite being in much colder temps in the past.

I’m a landscaper so I’m outside all day every day, it hasn’t been too bad despite the minus temps so I’d say 3-4 for me, it’s the short days and long nights that get to me!

I'd say a seven myself. Yes had some deep minus figures for UK temps the past few nights.

I had to scatter a flock of penguins off my car this morning.

3. Been working 12 hour days in 30° heat, an hour in a warm car driving home, then a hot shower. The nights are fairly chilling round these 'ere parts.

It's colder than a witch's tit out there tonight. On a 2 minute walk from the Co-op to the car, both my nipples almost froze off!

I haven't really been too cold. It's a lot milder on the coast anyway but we have had frost the last few days.

So I'll say 2.

I’m loving this coldness ……

Every morning I pick up the hammer and have to smash the thick ice of my plunge pool …. Then I jump in. I feel so alive, and tingly …. Love it.

You would love the polar plunge they do in Madison WI.

The Town by The Cross

Temperatures are relative.

I find that the past few winters have been almost autumnal.

Here it's cold and has been for days. It's better than damp and drizzle and wind.

I've missed the good old British Winter that I have known for most of my life.

It's fresh healthy and invigorating.

Glad I have an indoors to head home to though.

I'm confused but the scale, so I won't use it, but it's been pretty darn cold. Working outdoors this week has been quite tiring.

One day last week was bitterly cold. The next day there was barely a chill in the air.

Today, I'm going to lunch and the place better be draught free and warm.

Pretty cold the start of the week here, -1 etc.

Defrosting the car and my little hands had icicles!

But I’ve been in a field this morning with the dogs and it was beautiful. Chilly but dry, cold and crisp but soon warmed up with a brisk walk and enjoyed my flask of coffee 😊

I've felt colder at work this week.
