Putting myself out there

Hey! This is a bit of an odd post but I was inspired by a story I heard off another fabbed recently. I thought I’d put myself there. Ive been a bit bored so I’m thinking about traveling/moving/short getaway.

Thought I’d make a post to chat to some people outside of Ireland to make connections and see what happens.

I’m 28 from Ireland. I like to read and workout. At the moment I’m reading an Irish historical fantasy. It’s the second book in a trilogy. I’m not sure if I’ll finish the trilogy. I like science fiction too but I kind of just read whatever I think is cool.

I’ve a wide taste in music. I like the usual rock/rap stuff as well as club music. Actual club music like good house/techno etc. I hope I don’t sound too snobby.

I’m quite outgoing, I find it hard to say no to things that sound fun.

Some people say it’s quite neutral but everybody outside of Ireland says it’s quite strong !

I’m trying to read a lot more Ursula K Le Guin ! I got a great book that has here first three novels in them. I really enjoyed the first Hyperion and I’ve read the three body problem !

Oh what was three body problem like to read? I loved the series adaptation. I wondered with it originally being written in Chinese it might be a tough read as its translated.

I haven’t watched the series but the trilogy was great. A good mix of grounded / otherworldly sci fi. The first book imo is the best.

Ooh I might have to give them a try. I really enjoyed the series, they obviously spend a lot of money on it and it showed. But I found the concept fascinating.

I imagine the books might be better because they spend more time fleshing out the concept. It’s fantastic
