Good morning fabsters,

Is Fab addictive? By that..I mean, how often do you log in? How often do you check? Do you make it part of your social media 'doomscroll'?

Just curious, as I I find mugwort on here on my profile or my couples profile quite often and never really thought about it until this morning.

Hope you're all OK!!

Addicted?

I dunno. I always come back because I find it to be the best site of its kind.

I run to my inbox to look at the bellends every day, it's like Christmas all over again.

Definitely not addictive and never has been.

Even in the early days when I first joined nearly 9 years ago I didn't spend more than an hour a day in total on here and that was made up from numerous visits lasting no more than 5 mins at a time.

These days it's less than half an hour per day but I only use the forums and no other part of the site.

Let me be clear...

I'm not saying that I or others are out of control and need help, it's merely just a topic for open conversation... and wondered whether people are on here through media 'habit' aswell?

I mean I love it here. I feel I have a firm grasp of myself and have made some amazing friends along the way and enjoy checking in with them and making new ones.

Anything is addictive.

I'm not addicted to fab and do not want to exist in a social media 'reality'. I have all the apps but they are a waste of life. I mean REALITY

I come in once a day for five mins or so. Rarely any longer now.

Sometimes I'll have a bed time trawl but it no longer interests me to the extent it used to for several reasons.

That seems to have happened since people use their mobile rather than their computer.

Yeah in think so -its the 3rd app I check in the morning and often refresh the forum in the day and spend loads of time in the evening looking at fab.

When I left fab recently I got tonnes of shit done

I got a lot more done when you left aswell. Who would have thought the amount of time that disappears when you start photo trawling on here

For sure its addictive, the modern world we have invented is full of massive time wasting things when we should be doing something much more constructive with our lives, but we just can't resist, that is addiction.

Most probably, makes it so much easier to check your up on your account.

It's just a thing I check. Sometimes it can feel like walking into a room but forgetting what I came in here for. 🙂 Other times I read the forum, perv or send some messages. I tend to log in more if I'm interested in someone 😊

I'm always popping in and out. It's not something I dwell on.

Not addicted in the sense that I put it before everything else in my life to it's detriment.

I am on here a lot though

Yes, I boredom flick through far too much. I spend time in the forums reading when I should be being productive in other areas of my life 😂

It is a random thing for me. I can skip it for weeks, then hardly off it. It depends on the feedback and interactions. At the moment I am a frequent flyer.
