We just short notice canceled a meet. Wife just isn't herself and is going through something. She said she would still go but I just couldn't put her and him in that situation.

We feel horrible canceling on him but it needed to be done.

It has so bizarre how it affects you and it is impossible at times to identify the cause. Even though you know you have nothing to be low about. Well that is how it affected me.

As others have said well done for reaching out. Us blokes are usually very bad at that....

I get like this sometimes, it's natural every now and then, best thing to do is get out the house and be with friends, go bowling or something, I'd offer to meet up but you're over 3 hours away

How uplifting is it to see the support you are getting from site members. In a world of shaming people and trolling them on social media it’s lovely to see the outpouring of support for you. I hope you are now feeling better but I also know sometimes getting your happy place can take some work.
