"I used to think you weren't allowed to take your own snacks, because that's what everyone used to say. But there is no rule in any cinema that actually says this. Bring your own. 😄" I thought there was a rule that said you can’t bring your own food. To save some money I did take my own can of Tango. Definitely next time will take my own snacks

"Unfortunately, this is the pricing model for cinemas. Most of the time they show a film, they actually lose money as the cost of the tickets does not meet the price they pay the studios. They therefore have to make their money on snacks and drinks. Most of them make over 3,000% profit in the popcorn they sell!" The popcorn isn’t even fresh or made at the cinema I seen a guy kept bringing large bags which looked like they had been vacuum sealed.

"I used to think you weren't allowed to take your own snacks, because that's what everyone used to say. But there is no rule in any cinema that actually says this. Bring your own. 😄" My friends daughter used to work for Odeon, they tend not to like it if you take hot food in to the cinema that's bought elsewhere. Mrs

Mrs" I said say snacks, not cooked food. 😉 Crisps, chocolate, popcorn, soft drinks and so on.

"I thought there was a rule that said you can’t bring your own food. To save some money I did take my own can of Tango. Definitely next time will take my own snacks" Nope, there has never been a rule against taking your own film snacks. It's just one of those urban myths. 😊 They do frown upon cooked and smelly or messy foods being taken in though, such as BBQ chicken or something like that.
