I had an ex who used to just flounder out of jobs. He must have had 6 jobs in the 3 years Iwas with him . It was never his fault though, always someone else who had a problem with him and made working there impossible

Jason got made redundant 18 months ago and decided to start up his own business.

I support him in the good and the bad times and yes..... I've provided all the money some months, including October 12 to March 13 (including keeping the garage going)

But that's what you do when committed to someone....... And I do it without question.

Mine is supporting me 100%

I left a good, secure and well paid job in order to follow a dream and allthough times can be hard and stressful as all the responsibility of the bills and mortgage etc are on him, he never questions me or what I'm doing or why I'm doing it.

I'm half way through my degree now and there's an end in sight, just!

I don't think I can ever thank him enough for all he's sacrificed for me to fulfill a dream and I'd do the same for him in a heartbeat x

Still not related as no blood tie, either way a husband is just a piece of paper a partner the same minus the signing.

Exactly the same here, I have up my job to do my degree, just finishing my second year. Couldn't have done it without marts support, both financial & emotional. I am grateful everyday for having such a great husband & I'd do the same for him in a heartbeat!

I agree with that whole hartedly but there can be other factors that can put a burden on the partner not working such as finances and that is when things can become fractious

Its not about accepting it about not taking offence... you stated I was a delusional person you based on remarks on previous threads I have made... I have to say you know nothing about my previous relationships... anyway as stated your thoughts on me are your thoughts....

My ex may have turned out to be a thieving cunt, but when he was out of work he tried his damndest to find other jobs and I supported him - same with my ex-husband (although he never robbed me) when he was made redundant, I took care of the bills and supported him

Hard to say...with my ex husband, he was out of work 2 years before I left him, but our relationship had been rocky beforehand for quite a long time...with the latest ex, soon as I found out he'd robbed me blind he was dropped like a hot potato
