Manchester / Cardiff

Following on from 'sauvignon blanc's 80's Bands thread, what movies can you suggest with a great 80's soundtrack?

Can be a movie from the 80's itself, or one that just references the time through its story/music...

...I can't believe I didn't start with 'American Flyers'! Cheesy as a Dairylea warehouse, but for sentimental reasons alone, one of my fave 80's Soundtracks.

Oooh such a great question…. A movie from the 80’s or a film with lots of 80’s songs to go retro?

Footloose?

Dirty dancing?

"Oooh such a great question…. A movie from the 80’s or a film with lots of 80’s songs to go retro?"
Both are acceptable, but from the 80's bands thread, I was thinking more the music OF that decade (but the shootouts for 80's movies set in another decade are too good to rule out!)

"Footloose?

Dirty dancing? "

Both winners!
