Pic's versus Cam's

Hi - whats going on with the insistance on Pictures rather than a Cam - when checking to see if you like / fancy someone you might like to meet ....

Send a picture - seems to trump opening up your cam - everytime. I would have thought - a cam - a moving picture (and a chance for a chat) was a much better way of deciding whether to meet?

I wont cam period.

It's normally an opener to 'well given as you are on cam, can I just see a boob or' something else and I'm not interested in anything other than flesh on flesh.

I know I dont have the right software on here either to run in the cam chat rooms,

The other reason I have for not going on cam is when I arrange a meet, I get my sitter to look after my kids, when I am at home, my kids are. I do not want my kids appearing on cam. They are great sleepers, but you know kids they always know the perfect moment to appear

Yes I can quite understand that a load of people might use it keep asking for a bit more a bit more.

But - it does give a chance to chat even if only one person were to turn their cam on - instead of sending a picture.. ?

as for kids - yes quite - not anytime when they are within 500 yards.. lol

You've lost me with that one. Whats the use in camming if only one person had it switched on? Would you then sit and talk to a blank screen?

I hate camming.

1. It's often jerky and too delayed.

2. Guys usually end up wanking at me which I dislike.

3. Or they want to talk dirty.

4. Or they ask me to get my kit off.

5. It can be recorded and posted elsewhere on the net.

A clear clothed face pic for us. If people insist on a cam chat then we say thanks but no thanks.

More often than not people only want to see you on cam for wanking or dirty talk.

Why spend time setting up a one on one cam session if the person is a fugly. When time is short, you get lots of messages its the quickest way to sort who you may or may not like.

Yes if it's online it can go anywhere online, it's that easy to record even I know how to do it.

Now my pictures, well I choose who to send what too, and I have a variety at my disposal, clothed, not so clothed etc so I have more control over that

We like a face to face cam but only to verify who everyone is and no wanking involved. We make sure the men know this before we show face on cam.

If we get the usual leading questions that sound like they want to have camsex we said goodbye and take them off our list of possibles.

Yes but a simple, static face pic is one thing. An actual conversation which may have sexual content is an entirely different matter.

Say you get sent a face pic from someone and you don't like the look of them. Its pretty easy to think of a reason to not carry on talking much longer.....

Say you're on skype. Ring ring, cam on. Oh dear god. What IS that? Ergh! What do you do then, say 'sorry you're realllly not my type, cya', or do you keep talking for 10 mins?

it depends on the pic you show and what you show on cam, with a pic you can keep it and look again another time if you like , but cams don't stay on, also easier to dismiss a pic if you don't like, how do you tell someone no thanks your ugly when your face to face on cam

Ah nothing can happen, they are normally not in the same house

Sometimes we just send a mail once we have decided...it is not set in stone....and it is the same as saying no thanks after seeing a pic after all.

Either way, I am sure they must accept that sometimes a person won't get on with them or fancy them, just the same as we accept it if someone said no to us.

Hehe I know nothing can happen, I'm just a weirdo maybe. I don't even like to talk on the phone (to anyone) and avoid it if at all possible. Talking one to one on cam is too similar to that for me, especially if they try to actually talk rather than type!

Its funny - when i have come onto the cam to meet and chat - I prefer to keep typing - I dont like the sound of my own voice and have become so familiar with chatting by typying that it seems much more comfortable.

Besides - by typing - I have a bit more time to say what i think - its that slow! lol

As for telling someone that things will not work out - I wouldnt have a problem with that because its not generally to do with how they look - but more tro do with whether we like each other - and you have to sort that out - otherwise whats the point???
