BERWICK-UPON-TWEED

All my visits have been by myself as no folk I know would go to then. I did find going on a quieter day to start with best as it's not as intimidating and the staff tend to do there best to make you feel welcome. If you have someone to go with I would advise that and just have a good night with no expectations.

I tried that and there was another bloke there who had the same chariot but pulled by llamas!

We thought we were in real trouble when someone arrived in a sedan chair on 4 giraffes, but he had a vertigo attack so had to stay put.

I think the message is clear here; go on your own. You can do things at a pace you’re comfortable with.

I went with friends who I’d played with for my first visit so I knew I’d always have someone to go back to talk to if things got quiet. They were great and I enjoyed it. Single guys can get brushed off if there’s a lot of groups that know each other and end up not feeling included. I would say go with a fem friend or play partner or friends who respect that it’s your first time.

Just my own experience and hope it helps.

Whatever you do just go and enjoy yourself. Be polite. Don't be pushy. Be sociable. And don't expect to get lucky. If you do then bonus. Remember it's a swingers club not a brothel
