It can, but it should be controlled. Money and power can make you crazy, but it's no excuse

Define crazy

also define true

and false.

Let's not go there with defining love.

Like obsessive. I’ve read a lot about love feeling like obsession. Obsessive thoughts and desires. Etc etc

I don't think so. But then my definition might not be the same as yours so I'm not sure. The wrong kind of love? Definitely.

The right kind of love though? For me, it brings out my softer, better self. Makes me strive to improve. Makes the world brighter, lights up my soul. I've been dating someone for six months and there's not been one argument. It's so... easy. Feels like home.

I described it above as obsessive. Feeling obsessive over the person, thinking about them all the time, talking to them all the time etc. obsessive thoughts and desires.

I agree with Meli when it's right, it's just, well, right!

But love can lead you along many a different path, and sometimes that path can be rocky, or worse, can lead you to a place you didn't want it to take it to.

Ah. No, can't say I've experienced that. I know some of my friends have experienced limerence where they get those obsessive level of thoughts. If I am in love with someone I think about them often, little things will remind me of them but it's not obsessive. Perhaps it's down to the person and how they feel rather than the feeling itself.

Limerance comes up. I think people can be in love and feel it. Been a while since I experienced it. But I don’t enjoy someone having so much control over my thoughts.

People probably can be in love and have obsessive feelings/thoughts. Maybe it's not so much true or false but varying degrees of it. Love doesn't always make you crazy. For some people? Yeah, I can see it does.

Infatuation or limerence can. I think proper love, once you've actually got to who they are, is much calmer and not-so-crazy-making.

I think we felt it when we first fell in love, though we were 17/18 at the time.

We did some crazy shit so we could be together and we probably made crap decisions but none that ever had terrible repercussions. There is one incident I won't describe here but possibly THE most romantic, but insane thing anyone has ever done for me, was done by Mr KC as a 17yo

Of those I have experienced love with, I can recall how it felt to be still in their silence, as if 30 years ago was yesterday. Yet I cannot recall what I did this time yesterday.

If that makes me crazy then I am glad that I am not well-adjusted to this world.

Limerence has been on my mind. I think ‘afterglow’ was in my head and I don’t know. I think I felt i was on the up slope and it’s strange/nice combination.

The other side I guess I know more about, but getting back to before or even or ormal is gonna be the thing.

Sounds more like obsession than love. Love to me is a warm fuzzy feeling and thinking about them a lot. Didn't take over my life though

Crazy, blind, probably killed a few brain cells, broke my heart and stole all my self worth...

However sometimes it doesn't do those things. It can actually be worth it.
