Has anyone on here been hipnotised either privately or on stage. Just curious as it’s something I’ve seen on YouTube, it looks very interesting and appealing. Cannot spell it correctly as it won’t allow me to post.

I've seen a professional hypn'therapist in the past - I used one when I had my driving test in the 1990s.

I turned up at the test centre without a scrap of nerves, and passed!

I've also done plenty of self-hypn'sis through listening to recordings, but I've never seen a stage hypn'tist.

However, but I will be going to see Paul McKenna in March - although that will be more about mindset programming and NLP than entertainment.

My friend got it done on stage on holiday. It’s strange seeing how some people take to it and some don’t.

He was aware of what was happening but it was hilarious

I've experienced it thousands of times. There's another thread open, that was around yesterday, on the same subject.

It's obviously not fake, as there are years of published scientific research evidence upon it.

And some people don’t know the difference between the will or intellect and the subconscious. Hypn0 engages the subconscious often where habits or unwanted reactions are. You don’t need to be weak willed for it to work , quite the opposite you need to want the end result so much that you consciously allow the practitioner to bypass your consciousness and work on your subconscious. Nobody ever got hypn0tysed that didn’t want to.
