Don't drink at home, go to the pub.

Join social groups around activities you like - golf, walking, gym, knitting, swinging

That's step one.

I don’t think you need to get out more, the ability to meet and interact with people online is pretty amazing and for a lot of people it’s their preferred way of doing things.

Just be intentional. Life’s too short to fuck around or have people fuck around and waste your time so if you really like someone message them get to know them and then ask them if they would like to meet you.
