...

Is anyone thinking of doing dry January??

Last year I did a 100 day no-alcohol challenge through Jan, Feb +Mar but in fairness I'm not usually a big drinker

I’ve been dry for over 10 years. January is normally the hardest month. The longest and over winter by now

I could do the same. Only a social drinker at best

I don't drink an awful lot and you could tell by the amount of alcohol I've got in the house alone

No, I'm not a big drinker either (and tend not to drink at home unless I have friends over) so I'd find it really easy, but depriving myself of a couple of beers doesn't feel like it adds much.

Been teetotal since July 2005. It was all or nothing with me, thought I had to drink to enjoy myself. But realised I didn't. I don't miss it and but still socialise in pubs and clubs.

I rarely drink and only when out raving. I only have a couple to loosen up, then it's water for the rest of the evening.

I've had four beers in the fridge for months. Should check the date on them actually lol.

I’m considering it. After the festive season, it’s probably a good time to reset. Even if I don’t go the whole month, cutting back can only be a positive.

I’m tempted as over Christmas I, as many do, drank more often than I usually would. But I drink very little as a rule so it’s not a huge challenge!

No. I'm seeing a friend and a partner so I'll have a couple of cocktails with both.

I don't really drink at home - in December I've had about four drinks? And no, I'm not counting a bottle as a drink. It's not something I feel will help me.

I usually never drink alcohol. I won’t when I’m my own so I’ve had two nights out end November and December and that’s likely me for a while

I'm doing it after an excessive few months in terms of both food and alcohol. I won't enjoy it, but I'm sure my body will thank me for it

I can take or leave a beer. In Tenerife so beer till home time then operation so no beer for a while. It doesn't have to be January, stop if you need. That's all.

Never really been an issue for me as I very rarely drink and even when I do, it's in quantities where it's never an issue anyway. I can see why it's a popular thing to do though

Not doing completely dry January. My mum didn't raise me to be a quitter🤣🤣

Only having two pints on a Sunday when I have an hour in the pub with my Dad.

Hopefully though should see big changes with not drinking as much💪

No we aren't. We don't drink much anyway, only when we're out socially, so us doing dry January wouldn't be much of a sacrifice to us.

Why do people always feel the need for extreme when it comes to food and drink. Moderation people, moderation…
