We used to have a big family party every year when we were children, and at midnight had to leave the front and back door open (good luck in, bad luck leaving) and put a lump of coal coal by th front door.

All the superstition freaked me out a bit to be honest, but the parties were fun!

A couple of years ago the Spanish authorities issued a warning to people to eat the grapes slowly because so many were choking. 🫣.

The only ‘tradition’ i’ve enforced this year is getting all the laundry done before 12.

Yes parties were common when I was growing up too. First footing was a big thing too. I kinda miss it
