What's your most favourite pew pews in films, TV or even gaming, and why?

I'm talking cult classic and iconic boom toys that are easily recognised or maybe not so... Smart gun from aliens for example or blades anti-tamper katana?

I can't remember the name of the 1980s comic, but there was a strip called 'Laser Eraser' - a kid found an alien, pen-like device that could make things vanish just by pointing it at them.

Anyway, I want one of those.

In Space 1999 they had an awesome laser gun and anyone my age would've picked up a stapler at school and gone around firing them making the pew pew laser sound.

Classic weaponry, you can't beat the Morning Star. Replicated at school with a conker in it's spikey she'll with string and a stick hitting each other with pillow shields to defend yourself.

As you can see, I went to an interesting school.

All sorts of weaponry was used on us. The sole of a trainer, a bat, a cane and a whip for those...special occasions. 😂

I played a Stormtrooper in a Christmas nativity back in the day. My gramp made me a wooden sword 🗡️ in place of a light sabre. Teacher wasn’t impressed but we had that sword for YEARS, it was kept as a back scratcher

So…um…..wooden sword please.

Our Navity plays were always odd. We had a Wurzel Gummidge/Aunt Sally based nativity too (back in the day, again). Very rare our Nativities featured Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus!

For me, even though it's not fictional, I really like the representation of the Royal Navy's type 45, in "no time to die" firing it's salvo of 'aster' missiles. Awesome that that thing exists in reality!

Oh no, if we're talking about weapons called Lucille then the winner of that category has to be Uncle Phil's pool cue..."[Chuckles] Jeffery, break out Lucille"

As for fictional weapon the cerebral bore from Turok 2 on N64 was a pretty nasty one, best part was the enemies running around to avoid the head seeking, brain drilling, skull Exploding payloads.
