Help , I’m bed bound with this horrible flu bug going around.

Anyone else got it ? So achy I can’t get out of bed.

Anybody wanna chat and moan about how rough they feel lol ?

Yeah i had flu over Christmas man lasted few days!!

Nose was blocked sore throat and my nose frigging killed lol

Somewhere In The Ether…

Commiserations; I to am presently suffering this ☹️

It came on Boxing Day and although I’m certainly better than I was, I’m still not right.

Last night it decided to go into my inner ears which resulted in me feeling as though my internal tracking was majorly off to the left 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Alternating ibuprofen and paracetamol is helping with plenty of hot fluids 🙏🏻✊🏻

Had it about three weeks ago. Then just before Christmas Eve it flared up bad . Went to the gp on Friday and I have a chest infection, on antibiotics

Constantly Travelling With Work

I had a flu jab in November, so only had 2 days feeling awful and a further 5 when I went back to work (wearing a mask) when I was at 50%

Yep, started feeling it Christmas Day and then spent the next 3 days in bed with a chest infection. On antibiotics now but still have cough and feeling bunged up

Don’t think it’s flu but we’ve had a chesty persistent cough/cold thing since Boxing Day. My mum has had it worse than me as she has asthma.

Lot of bugs around at the moment.

Had the nightmare sore throat and dry hacking cough. Did a Covid test, not that. Went to the Doctors, upper respiratory virus. So no antibiotics.. which was fine by me.

Slapped tonnes of Vicks over my chest and soles of feet for bed and so far so good. Keeping the sinus' clear is easing the throat issues.

Sleeping ok which is (to me) the main annoying part of being ill.

Yeah I've had it and a lot of other people I know,lots of coughing, feeling tired and also bringing up thick bile.Its odd,as felt better then came back.Feeling a lot better now though. Lasted about 2 weeks or so.

Sounds like a cold.

Flu is a very different beast, if you have had actual flu you'd know the difference

On the positive side, I've always found Minstrels even more delicious during a 'flu and get through 2 (sometimes 3!) big packs a day

Minstrels, Lucozade, hot buttered toast......and CHEESE!
