Box of about 60-70 toy cars I got when I was really young that are all still in there sealed boxes. I got about 35 off someone and added the Rest over a few years. It's more who and when I got the first lot off rather than what they are

I have a few silly things that belonged to my parents, also a pillow case they last both slept on.

A dried flower off my grandmothers funeral wreath.

All my kids tags, belly button clips, name cards from the day they were born.

A saint Christopher charm my first love gave me when he went into the RAF .

Various champagne corks with dates on.. Lots of other things too

This got me thinking and I can honestly say, after dad dying a year ago, I couldn't give a monkeys about any of my possessions. My family were portioning up his stuff and it made me feel sick.

I'm bloody grateful all my people are happy and healthy.

yes.. it's a little threadworn bear about 3 inches high... I've had it since I was 2. He has bare patches, has had his head sewn back on many times... But he is precious to me..

I remember thinking when my father died that I d rather have had him for a few more years than his inheritance. And I really treasure the memories and one or two personal things he gave me.

I dont think it matters tbh - I was curious what people thought of first when you ask them for a prize posession. Tbh my prize "possession" (wrong word I know for I dont own them...) are my children.

Both of my grandfathers always used to tell me you can not truly know who you are until you know where you come from. I am very lucky that my family as always maintained a family treee which helps to know somewhat were we are from. "

A 1999 Yamaha R6, it doesn't run due to a fault that I am trying to sort out. I cant get rid of it as I won it in the same year I was diagnosed with Testiculr cancer (I am clear of it.)

I have a nursing chair that was my grandmothers mothers and it would go to first of the next line who had a child. I also have a print in a frame that is roughly the same age of a boy with his first football and an ivory crocodile letter opener. Apart from that it would be photos, my son has the few bits of jewelery my dad had
