Are you weird or normal…? Do you:

Eat all the best flavours first or save them to the end? Or do you just thrust your sticky mitts into the bag and take whatever comes?

Eat a bit of everything on your plate or eat all the beans first, then the chips, then the fish fingers?

Do you eat a crisp, then a bite of sandwich, then another crisp?

Do you take a glug of Pepsi max while still chewing on your burrito?

Best till last.

I always eat my desert after and not before, unless that desert is shit of course.

I move around the plate, switching from meat to veg to meat etc, I also periodically place my knife and fork together on the plate in order to free my hands so I can use the corner of the napkin on the corners of my mouth before returning to eating again, I’m very civilised

Not sure if unusual but I rarely eat anything until lunch. After that it's free game right until I'm going to bed.

Doesn't placing your knife and fork together on your plate indicate that you have finished eating and the waiter can remove your plate ?

Was at a wedding this year and one lady on our table when the food came separated everything. Then eat each item one by one. There where a few comments lol. So I asked how do you eat peas if you don't like diferant food touching.

To with she replied " I don't eat peas there too unpredictable"

That line will stay with me to the end.

Straight ahead - finished. Please remove the plate.

3 or 6 o’clock - I’m pausing eating.

Crossed - I didn’t like it/please remove the plate.

I’d like to think I’m normal but most people think my eating habits are weird so who knows.

My food has to be eaten in a particular order.

I can’t have wet food touching dry food, unless it’s a full English breakfast from the cafe then that’s ok. So No beans touching anything else unless it’s beans on toast or fry up.

I can have different meats on a plate but can’t have different meats in the same mouthful.

Cant use a tub of butter if the previous person left toast crumbs in it.

Cant use sugar if someone has left coffee in it or put a wet spoon in it.

I don’t bite into burgers or sandwiches etc, I break pieces off and eat them.

If I’m eating out I will use a knife and fork but when eating at home I often just use a spoon or fork.

Delightful Bliss

I save the best flavours till last on a plate.

Crisps are my main strange one, I like to make my own "sharing" pack from different types of crisps and shake them all in together in a food bag.

Then its a surprise flavour mish mash

Definitely could not do that. I like to know what I’m eating lol.

Can’t even buy the bags of popcorn that come with sweet and salty cos even though I like both, again I like to know what I’m eating

This is why there has to be a minimum of two roasties on the plate

One to start with and one to finish with

Oh and ideally a 3rd in the middle for good measure

I'm a bit "faddy" as my mum called it.

I hate onions so pick them out.

I eat each item individually depending on mood

I eat fried egg yolks whole. I love how they poo in my mouth.

There's a few other quirks

Ok all, what about a bag of wine gums? Do you eat all the orange and yellow ones first so the best flavours are left?

Or if someone gave you some Celebrations/Heroes - would you eat the bounties first and save the galaxies for last?

I do you just plough in and fill your face with whatever you can grab?

Just tip the bag up side down and pour - the mix of flavours is the best.

I have absolutely no idea, I rarely eat out but on the times I do I have never had a plate removed by staff without them asking first.

your wildest dreams,

Just had this conversation with my daughter yesterday.

Wine gums first - easy. Line them up in colour, eat alternate colours till there are the same number of each. Then continue least favourite to favourite.

A meal, all food separate. Veg, carbs, then protein. Grew up poor, meat was carved at the end of the meal when you’d filled up on everything else. Meant the meat was used for more meals

Wow, that really would have earned him a reprimand if it had been me.

I also don’t like waiting staff that ‘hover’, if there is a problem or I require something I will approach/get someone’s attention.

Just always did. Realised one day while I was eating a burger. I pick it up (thumbs on top) and flip it. I thought it was normal, way into my teens 🤣 It's tidier, imo 🙈 I will eat a chocolate bar, logo/top fancing down too 🤣
