It really depends which one. One would be a black forest gateau. Beautiful to look at, gets a bit much after a few mouthful. Best consumed sporadically.

Another would be a pack of chipolatas that you pick up, having seen them languishing alone in a reduced section. You take them home only to realise they're well past their expiry date and the odour from their packet comes back to haunt you now and again until you take the bin out.
