pdsa hospitals

I've just left my very sick cat at my local one after someone decided to kick him around like a football... To save myself from spending to much time thinking about this I've decided to make a few pleas to places to help these hospitals out.

My local one is asking for old towels and sheets and newspapers.. it's not a lot but was wondering about getting a collection together to take to my local hospital of these items..

but also ask that maybe some of you could find where your local one is and donate some stuff yourself.

Thanks

"wish him a very speedy recovery "

to be honest I'm not expecting him home. I gave them a donation and am just now going home to get rid of some old sheets etc.

It gets worse... He is showing signs of having been poisoned too .. and been told if he pulls through the next few hours I will be lucky...

But worse is apparently he is the 2nd cat this week with this same toxic issues and apparently within about 3 streets there have been a few more reported. Thing is it's quick and looks like renal failure... As to be honest that's what it causes...

If I find someone that has actually done it.. they will be so sorry.

You're lucky he's in the Pdsa, they're often better than commercial vets as they do everything the animal needs but don't do needless tests and procedures to increase the cost- they really are an excellent charity and take some proper stick from those who want everything free but don't qualify for treatment.

To anyone thinking if donating towels etc to your local Pdsa hospital, please call them first to check they have room to store them.

Hope your cat makes it and the scrote who did it gets what they deserve

I need to stop ringing them now.. I would have stayed with him if I could... I am managing not to cry.. he is my disabled daughters cat... Him and her are normally inseparable.. already been asked where he is.

I really hope it's an accidental poisoning... But doesn't explain the kicks to face and tummy.... He has youth on his side and I hope he makes it through...

It seems it's antifreeze or something similar that he has ingested... Apparently cats actually like the taste... So be careful if emptying your car out of water.. or with antifreeze.

Sadly my cat isn't going to pull through. I'm going to see him and cuddle him while they put him to sleep.

Don't know how to tell my daughter... It's her cat.

Bridgwater - Somerset

Very sad news, some bastards deserve all they get, hope they get caught.

I can't imagine quite how you are feeling.

Held my previous cat while he was injected and slipped away and brought him home to bury in the garden - in constant floods of tears, and that was old age (16 years).

All the best, feeling for you.

XX
