So, the Big Day is done (those that follow it). The Day After is also done too.

So for those currently off work until the New Year, I have a question or two.

.

Without looking at a phone / calendar do you have any idea what day it is ?

Are you now surviving on cheese for the foreseeable future ?

Has time now essentially stopped and is this Limbo ? (Planescape reference, perhaps)

I like the limbo state, I'd love to make time stand still.

Lots of food and drink in stock. Hunkering down for the winter.

Reminiscing on past Christmas' and watching old Christmas tv.

It could go on for another two weeks for me.

Yes, mainly because I'm hosting. I'd have no clue otherwise.

I primarily survive on cheese anyway, there's no difference there.

I really like Betwixtmas. It's a good time to rest and not do very much bar talking to/seeing those dear to me, eating and napping.

Not knowing what day it is and surviving on cheese sounds heavenly. I feel like Twixmas should be my permanent state and new life goal.

I'm loving the mist and the stillness here but to me nothing has changed. I don't celebrate Christmas and I do my normal stuff.

I just know that there is one day that the shops won't be open and i'm not a shopaholic so that doesn't worry me .....

It's Saturday and i've put my bin out ..... that was weird. The Binnies will be here today

It’s nice not knowing what day it is, makes me feel like I’m really on holiday. I’ve got to keep track a bit because of arrangements, but it’s a noticeable contrast to when I’m at work.

It's eerie how close this is to what I posted. Or flattering. Can't decide.

I made Welsh rarebit for lunch yesterday with a variety of cheeses in the mix. It was delicious.

It’s cheese, honestly it’s basically a food group for me 🤣

I did hear anecdotally that those with 2 X chromosomes, when asked if they had to forego either cheese or chocolate for the rest of their life, chose to exclude chocolate in preference to cheese.

So perhaps we have transitioned from the "Festivities" in to the "Cheesities".
