desert island disc

you are marooned on a desert island (that for the purpose of this thread has electricity) but you have only one film and one album to keep you entertained till rescue comes along,

what film and album would you have with you?

Welll.... If it has to be an album, probably either Genesis Live (early version with Suppers Ready) or Wishbone Live (Wishbone Ash)

Prefer to take a book though... Earth Abides by George R Stewart

Film is more difficult! Prefer old black and white films to todays diet of nothing but special effects, so perhaps It' a Wonderful Life with James Stewart or The Cruel Sea with Jack Hawkins

(serves you right for askin a guy to actually choose something!!!)

Blimey, 3 of my favourite films mentioned already but the best of all has to be ZULU and as I don't really listen to much music I think Pink Floyd Another Brick in the Wall would be the only realistic choice

Film would be Speed, just has a feel good vibe for me, music any album by Gotan Project for same reason: makes me feel good.
