So who plays 7 card black jack! 8 miss a go black jacks pick up 7 red jack stops the pick up and so on? I want to see how the rules change out there

My rules are powers cards are as follows ace changes suit (players choice) can be played at any time,

10 reverses the direction of play unless only to players then it’s go again!

8 forces the next player to miss ago unless they have an 8

Blackjacks are pick up 7 can be stacked with another blackjack and 2 (pick up 2) red jack stops the pick up for any player placing,

Tonight I was told that 7 of hearts stops the game, can’t put a two on a jack and ace of spades picks up 5 WTF

My version. Is red power cards cancels black matching power cards. Black 2 pick up 2 or both 2s pick up 4.

Black Jack pick up 5 or both Jack's 10.

8 miss a go red cancel, 2 Black 8s put down next 2 players after you miss a go unless one has a red 8.

Pick up a card if you can't go with same suit cards unless you change suit with a Ace ,but it's cheating if you use a Ace if you got a card in your hand before.

And King back to you.

Got it! Here’s a clean set of rules based on your vision, including the special powers for each card. Let’s call it Power 7-Card Blackjack:

Objective

• Be the first player to get rid of all your cards by strategically playing cards with special powers.

Setup

1. Players: 3–6 players (works best in groups).

2. Deck: A standard 52-card deck.

3. Starting Hand: Each player is dealt 7 cards. The rest form the draw pile.

4. First Card: The top card from the draw pile is flipped to start the discard pile.

Gameplay

1. Starting Play:

• Players take turns playing one card that matches either the rank or suit of the top card in the discard pile.

• If unable to play, the player must draw one card.

2. Winning:

• The first player to discard all their cards wins the game.

Card Powers

1. Ace:

• Can be played at any time.

• The player chooses the new suit for the next turn.

2. 10:

• Reverses the direction of play.

• If there are only two players, the player who played the 10 gets an extra turn.

3. 8:

• The next player misses their turn, unless they also play an 8.

• If they play an 8, the skip effect continues to the following player.

4. Blackjack (Jack of Spades or Clubs):

• Forces the next player to pick up 7 cards.

• Can be stacked with another Blackjack or a 2 (Pick Up 2).

5. Red Jack (Jack of Hearts or Diamonds):

• Stops the pick-up chain for any player who plays it.

6. 2:

• Forces the next player to pick up 2 cards.

• Can be stacked with another 2 or a Blackjack for cumulative pick-ups.

Additional Rules

• Stacking:

• Players can combine the effects of special cards (e.g., play a 2 on top of a Blackjack for a total of 9 cards to pick up).

• Red Jack breaks the chain, and no further pick-ups are added.

• Last Card:

• A player must call out “Last card!” when they have only one card left.

• If they fail and are caught, they must draw 2 penalty cards.

• Winning the Game:

• A player wins as soon as they discard their final card. If the last card has a power, it applies normally.

Red Jack only cancels Black. But I've played with jokers being any card but if the jokers are used against suited numbered cards placed down suited cards wins over jokers but jokers can be used to win playing against none suited etc .
