hate skype why on earth did they do away with msn. Cant sign on today says wrong password which its not tried to re set by e mail even the reset code wont let me on . Anyone recommend any other instant chat systems

If you use a mobile try Kik and you dont have to give out your phone number

What phone do you have. FaceTime on I phone n iPad is great.

Yahoo messenger is much the same as man.

I understand why u dont like Skype, but honestly it's a bit like medicine. Get used to it coz it is the best. Need any advice feel free to ask.

Never had a problem with skype...

Got it because my daughter moved to Australia...

Deleted MSN yrs ago....so im used to the change now....

There will probably be few teething problems just now due to so many switching at once....Give it time...

shhhh I'm still signing in to messenger, I was given a tip a few months ago to unistall messenger and install an earlier (older) version. It's still working, however admitted my inbox is now outlook.

I've had skype years and never rated it, so I'm not being shoved over there.

Have you tried trilion (spelling??) I know people use it as it would bring together msn, google, yahoo and what not, but personally I haven't moved off msn messenger

I'm installing Yahoo Messenger just to give a go and see if it does what I need. Hated the presumption with Messenger that no one needed it any more and that I 'must' want Skype. I'll be the judge of that Mr Gates, ta very much

We have installed it and gone for yahoo instead and its far better. I can understand why they went for skype but you should really be able to keep msn if you want to and its a mistaken assumption by Microsoft.

I use yahoo and oovoo. Probably the 2 best video chat apps out there that are free.
