I love a good hashtag, almost as much as I love a good GIF, but you don't see either here in the forums...

Now GIF's I understand, just not physically possible; but hashtags? Why is that?

Is that they're far 'too Twitter' (sorry, 'X') for this platform, or they've been outlawed, was there a vote? Or am I just not down with the kids and it's SO 2007?!

A hashtag is a word or phrase preceded by the # symbol that's used on social media to categorize content and make it easier to find:
