Ive just had the same message from a guy that he sent to me 6 days ago. It looks like the copy and paste variety I think, unless he has it saved somehow on his profile. To me it looks like a standard message for all females - I replied to it last week saying similar thing back, wanting to get rid of him. Should I report him? or just block

Not sure why you would report him. Just block, or send a sarcky reply!

Just thought it might save other females from what appears to be a bit of a strange guy but never mind

Just delete and block, if she can't be bothered to send a personal message she probably won't even notice.

I wouldn't bother with a sarky remark, cos that just lowers your standards..

Just block and delete. No big deal...

Unless it wad an offensive message I doubt admin would care really. It's not against the rules to send the same message twice. Just block him so he can't send it a third time

All this 'report' malarkey is starting to wear on me, I'm sure that we are seeing more references to reporting people on the forum lately.....

Report for what?.....I'm sure that Admin have their work cut out as it is, there are genuine reasons for reporting messages such as offensive, illegal, or just plain nasty content.

But reporting another member for repeating a sent message?

It lacks imagination but he's not doing nothing wrong unless he was insulting you which in that case report and delete.

in the night garden

This is not a reportable offence.

If every copy and paste bro was reported there would be like 5 bros left on the whole site.

erm... hold on... I have an idea...

Thought it was just me wondering why people kept wanting to report trivialities to Admin.

Get a grip people!

I find they message everytime my profile pic is changed just showing its the pic not the name they see . Typical man really lol

What is the problem? I don't cut n paste (using mobile) but I tend to write very similiar intro message. Why? Because I know its friendly polite and it works!

I will alter with specifics depending on who im contacting but stays along same lines. Lets be honest its no doubt gonna be deleted anyway!

Repeat c n p messages are very common, I just delete and block, some are even downright dishonest, I had a message on my old profile, then the very same on this profile, when I asked my girlfriends, they had all also had the very same message.

This 'squaddie' had been on 2 weeks leave for at least a year

Scatter gun, they think if they fire off enough rounds, they might just hit something Means they forget who they have already targeted

Block, forget and enjoy

I think you should meet him. He's obviously trying as hard as he can and everyone deserves a good sympathy shag every now and again.

I can't blame men for sending out a message they have pasted as they hardly get replies anyway and as long as it is polite I don't see the problem.

We send out a copy and paste no thanks.

If you don't like someones mail and it isn't abusive just block.

Its worrieing that some seem to think sending a repeated message is to be reported. Ok if the content is offensive then let admin know otherwise just delete and if you want no further contact block thats what the button is for.
