I only have Xmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day off...

I'm working every other day (apart from Sundays) around the holiday period.

Who here is working over the festive period? Don't query Kings and Queens, I got you ✌️😎

When my friends say 'oooh.. I break up the 20th December and I go back to work on the 10th January 2032' and I'm like..... 🙄 lol

I salute you, I spent 14 years working through Christmas and new year.

It's the way everyone assumes "have a nice break!" Sure, thanks I'll make the most of my 48 hours off

After 25 years in professional kitchens I’m used to it, this year I have Christmas Day off and that’s it! I actually even worked a Christmas Day before years ago and it was so soul destroying I promised myself never again

Working everyday, always have, it’s the nature of the job.

I’ll get done by 12’ish Christmas Day but then have to slip out again for a bit at about 19:00 just for half hour or so.

To be honest it suits me, I’ve never been a particular fan of Christmas, don’t get all the hype.

After years of working over Christmas, I'm now semi retired. I am only working new years day this year. Apart from when the kids were small I have not minded working. Happy holidays to all working xx Ms

We worked all over Christmas and New Years for many years.

I am now in a job where I have it off but Mr is on call for his job.

I feel for anyone who has to work when they would rather be at home. I know on some level you get used to it and make it the best you can but it still sucks.

I'm working Xmas day. Only a short shift and double time. Makes it worth it. Also an excuse to dress as Mrs Claus

We will have our Xmas dinner tomorrow and when I get home on Wednesday it's party for, pj's and movies. I'm looking forward to it.

I was meant to work both over Christmas and New Year but my accident prevented that. I’d 100% rather be working.

And also I’ve never got my head arounx that “Xmas break”, I’ve always had to work through it.

It's why I usually just say merry Christmas, not everyone worked in a factory for years and had a shutdown like we did, lol.

Working until the 4th January. Not always full days, but covering everything till then. It is shift work, so still hope to be a source of Fab fun for lovely people on here on here between shifts.

I have Christmas Day and Boxing Day off. To be honest they are the only 2 days I want.

I feel for the people working on Christmas Day and hope they can enjoy their Christmas when they get home
