Have you ever met someone after talking online or on the phone where things are really good but when you actually meet them it just doesn’t work out, you can’t quite say why though?

Have you ever met someone in a social atmosphere where the pre conceived idea you have of them has been totally different to the persona they betray?

Every single date I've been on from a dating app. The other person would probably say the same in each case. The ability to consider a response and take your time over a text is vastly different from an in person conversation

Yes but I think we all tend to project onto people online, especially if we have been chatting a while. The reality may not be what we created for them.
