Minoxidil Lotion to rub on scalp, but its my understanding that once you start using stuff like that you have to continue it....and you have to use it for several months

I have had the same and ascertained that mine was stress related as once I got rid of what was stressing me out, it went away. Maybe you need to look at what is going on in your life at the moment, if there is nothing you can think of go and see the doctor as they can send you for tests

IF as a last resort you have to shave it off - you'll look beautiful either way

I had patches of alopecia 5/6 years ago -was referred to a dematologist who prescribed Clobetisol propionate ointment. It worked very quickly...new hair growth in about 10 days.

think you could be right there .. my mam had it at about my age but all the doctor could offer was a bottle of shampoo that seemed to be a placebo

I will if it gets any worse .. was very odd how it happened .. just fell out over night

she's a bit of a nightmare my GP .. doesn't matter what I go in with .. she has an issue with me that she diverts the conversation to so it's a fairly futile exercise to be honest

That sounds terrible! If my gp was like that I'd report him/her, but there are loads of different reasons for hair loss and it might be dead easy to remedy now rather than leaving it. Good luck, Z
