"I've re-watched 28 days and 28 weeks this week and tonight went to watch 28 years later. Thought it was a bit confused as a film, lots of unexplained gaps in logic but I enjoyed it. The ending is bizarre but makes sense if you remember that everything after 2002 in this ti_eline isn't the same as now. E.g Sycamore Gap is still there. It was filmed near me, so was fun trying to recognise the locations. Two 28 years later sequels are in the pipeline."
