Ok so I’m going to Australia tomorrow morning,

All packed up and ready,

However the thought goes through your head what have I forgotten?

So what have you forgotten before?

Not on topic as to what you asked but I usually find that if I feel anxious that I'd forgotten someone then I haven't. But if I feel like I've remembered everything then I've usually forgotten something.

Ohhhh everyone's going on holiday! Just taken Mr's parents to the airport tonight for their holiday and back to the airport for 6am in the morning for our daughter going on holiday.

Sorry that doesn't really answer your question does it

Sure you've not forgotten anything important though, hope you have a great holiday.

Forget worrying about what you may have forgotten.

You’re going to Australia tomorrow. Get in there!

Aside from official documents, forgotten stuff can be bought when you hit Aussie soil.

I forget nothing.

I prepare a spreadsheet of all the things I need to take weeks in advance, tick it off as I pack, recheck everything is in there the day before.

Oh actually I once forgot all of my kids clothes when going on a caravan holiday

My brother for our family Christmas holiday!! He was acting out the night before our flight so mom made him sleep in the attic room. We had a power cut during the night, overslept and, in the ensuing melee, we rushed to the airport without him. She only remembered mid-flight so we had to go back.

Little bastard ruined my Christmas holiday that year.

Someone should turn this into a film.

Back in the days when we all had Nokia’s with no cameras, as we were getting in the car to drive to the airport I realised I hadn’t picked up the digital camera. So I ran back in the house for it and put it in the door of the car. Parked up in the airport, bus to terminal, through security and sat in pub…. Yes you guessed it, camera still in car door

In the 90s I went to South America for a climbing trip from the bottom of Patagonia all the way up the Andes - was away for well over a year. The night before I fly to Buenos Aires I went out on the lash - was not in a good state the next morning and everything was in a rush. It wasn’t until I touched down that I realised I had not packed any money. No cash, credit cards or travellers cheques (that tells you how long ago it was). I had to get my dad to FedEx my cards, cash and cheques to me before I could do anything. That was a long week.

I set off to Paris at the end of August without any of my medication. I realised once it was too late to turn back. Doctor's receptionist get flak but ours are brilliant. In the time it took an Avanti train to make it from Liverpool to Euston, there was an e-prescription ready to collect from a pharmacy in London. Hurrah!

This time, we forgot our daughter's stocking for Christmas. I'll be collaring the housekeeping staff for a spare pillow case!

",

You'll only remember what you've forgotten once the plane stars it's take-off roll.

As long as it wasn't something really important (like your travel insurance policy or your wife) you should be OK.

Allways find its better to be paranoid that you've forgotten something than not, less likely to have

I need a holiday. I never forget anything because I go alone and it's easier to keep organised
