When someone leaves fab or any other social media you may have them on and you have contact with them outside of it, such as a number or a different form of chat app, do you check in with them or do you respect that if they want to talk they will reach out to you?

If they explained they were leaving due to xyz on the site or app id leave it at that. If they just left with no explanation id ask if they were ok but not pry into the decision.

I’d check in, if we are chatting off site then I’d just let them know I’d noticed they’d left and make sure they’re ok. If they don’t reply or ask to be left alone I’d not push anything and respect their wishes.

In most (nearly all) circumstances I leave them alone. If I was aware of their fragility or anything about them that would cause concern I would consider messaging to enquire about their wellbeing.

Otherwise I would only absolutely keep in touch if they had shared their contact details, be it a phone number or perhaps their Telegram ID etc.

If they left to start a relationship I would leave it to them to make contact with me first if they wanted to continue the friendship.

If they left for other reasons, I would apologise for the intrusion but would want to check that they were OK.

Apart from maybe one person, I don’t form any sort of friendships with anyone from Fab and rarely speak people on a daily basis. If they don’t feel like reaching out, I will not bother them.
