Yeah, this is my new favourite analogy.

As a playlist queen I couldn't even choose just one artist. But going by my Spotify Wrapped it would be Belle and Sebastian. Probably Wrapped Up In Books. The dopamine is still strong for this song but what about when it wears off and I can't listen to it again for at least a year! 😭😂

Tried it, already know it's not for me so nope. All of my songs remain. Varying lengths, different tempos, intensities and styles. Just how I like them.

I often have background music rather than deliberate music. I do like a good getting ready to get laid song as an active choice though. So I'll go with Puscifer's Rev 22:20 for the sake of the question 💜

Apologies if this thread doesn’t make much sense, I’m overworked and tired but oddly fascinated by people’s music taste and choices

Please continue.

Oddly, it's not on my main playlist.

But there's method here.

My favourite music has driving dance rhythms, or powerful and clear vocals, or mood and tension, or crescendo and diminuendo, and I'm a sucker for a soulful voice, particularly female.

So, although I have songs that I like more than this when my choice is pretty limitless, the one song that gives me enough of ALL this just in itself, and would likely keep me going forever with only a few grumbles, is....

No More Tears (Enough is Enough), Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer.

I really fucking wish I was gay sometimes.

I'm made for it in every conceivable way.

Apart from the gay bit 🤷.

OP - You realise you could now get a great party off the ground?

Everyone's only allowed to bring one song, but we'll all be huddled really close or dancing around when they play it.

People might even talk, kiss, and do sexy time 🤩🥳🚀🔥

Yeah, Robert Plant is notoriously abrasive to people who want to cover it but he was in tears there.
