Doncha just hate foxes

Nr Exeter

One of the neighbourhood felines got totalled a week ago - head bitten off and otherwise intact so fox kill for sure. Seen in many times before.

Just dropped a fox doing similar - the racket outside my livingroom was insane, now what to do with the carcass.... Grrr.... The bin men kinda object to dead wild animals in the trash...

I dislike foxes for this very reason.

It's big, like a medium sized dog.

Heavy too and the fleas are bailing out as it's losing body temp - you can see them in the torch light bouncing around... Grim.

Maybe something from the night will come and take it into the gloom...

I hate this kinda stuff as I'm generally a pacifist but I hate foxes.

Here's hoping , its forecast lots of sun for the next couple of days.. Will cause quite a stink

One of the neighbours found a cat with its head clean off, we were only talking about it yesterday and wondering if a fox was capable of doing it. Seems they are my dog chases foxes hes only a jack russell but I swear he sees a rottweiler when he looks in the mirror

Foxes are capable of it they go for geese and they are not so small and pretty vicious.

Where i used to live there were so many geese and ducks that the foxes left the cats and domestic animals alone....but was not a pretty sight taking the lads to school in a morning n seeing mangled ducks and geese.

They say they only kill for food but i don't believe that as they leave it.

A single fox can wipe out a hen house, I know because I lost a dozen years ago but only one got taken away .

They are vermin.

I quite likes foxes myself

You cant go against nature its just what they do, if you didn't like any species that killed you wouldn't like a great deal of anything

Maybe we should kill all natural wildlife because this world is clearly not big enough for man and wildlife to co exist. We have taken over all there land. Killed off all their food source/predators basically fucked up the circle of life. No wonder they are in towns looking for food.

What annoy me is we, as a species destroy everything, I wont even begin to list the animal we have wiped off the face of the planned, we use them to experiment on, we eat them, we wear them, we wipe out their homes and force the to either move closer to human or die, we use them for sport, lock them in cages I could go on but its them that vermin?

go figure

Cats kill mice, foxes kill cats, humans kill foxes.....I cant see your point?

Foxes don't kill for fun..every day is a battle for survival..their instincts are to kill and cache to be consumed later..they will kill surplus prey even when not hungry..this is a strategy common to many predators... hen houses are obviously unnatural situations.. hens cannot escape, leading to surplus killing.
