They get better looked after doing a stretch than out in the wide world and believe it or not it costs less to imprison someone than it does to install them in a care home.... society is seriously fcuked

I read about a 67 year old nurse who was driving TO work after having had several gins and some wine. On the way she knocked a 15 year old boy off his bike and dragged the bike several hundred yards before stopping and removing it, throwing it to one side then continuing to work.

The young lad died at the scene despite the best efforts of those who went to his aid.

She got 5 years behind bars - will be out in about 2.

That seems like a piss poor sentence for what she did - Do you think courts are more lenient on older people?
