Try again..

I've an hybrid petrol car that's been sat in a garage for 2 months now. It'll possibly be there for 3 to 4 months yet.

Whats the chances the 12v service battery still be okay after that long? I'm not but think it's a 35 amp

I’d get a car battery trickle charger and plug it in, that way it’ll keep your battery topped up and stop it from going flat.

No, new battery, I wouldn’t even test it, try it or even look at it beyond removing it, hybrids and the 12v run hand in hand and what ever you do do not think about jump leads, that’s how fires start
