I see a lot of profiles where the person says they’re a non smoker but then later you find they are a heavy vaper or worse still a smoker.

So my question is do you class vaping as smoking? I do.

As a smoker I consider it more annoying to vape

I have a terrible reaction to either for health reasons. I'm a bit delicate. If I have the reaction, I'm out. If they've wasted their time, more fool them for lying to me.

Smoking is the incendiary combustion of material and consumption of it, which will typically include tobacco and nicotine. Vaping involves no burning but merely the vapourisation of liquids. It may not contain any nicotine.

Smoking and vaping are not the same. For one thing, you don't get the nasty smell and taste from a vape as you would from a cigarette.

I'm an ex-smoker, and I vape to keep myself from going back to cigarettes. Eventually I'll quit vaping as well, but today is not that day.

My profile says I'm a non-smoker because it's true. If someone being a vaper bothers you that much and you need advanced warning, submit feedback to the site owners about having a Vaper/Non-Vaper option on profiles.

We met a 'non-smoker' for a social once - he kept disappearing every 15 minutes or so for a vape.

It's not only the smell we dislike but having to put up with their addiction is also irritating.

We double check now. K.

I've never understood how non smokers can say that they will meet smokers.

Is it because they are desperate for nooky,no matter what or is it that taking a break every 20 minutes for the smoker/vaper to have a drag actually suits their level of stamina and they are glad of the rest period?

Depends upon how they go about it.

I had a fwb for a while and didn’t realise she smoked.

In fact there were at least two.

If they don’t smoke indoors then it isn’t so noticeable. And I used to get irritated by it in pubs/clubs.
