Should people put disclaimers on their profile if their location says one thing but their accent is another??

Could people reel more people in by touting their accents, not just their bodies?

Should it be a surprise?

I'm really fussy over accents, there's a few I can't stand and a few I adore.

I went on a date with a french guy expecting a french accent. He'd been living in America for the last 3 years and his accent was awful (to me) 😭

Nah. I like being a delightful surprise to people who expect a Northerner.

I have a real thing for voices (possibly verging on fussy) and whilst most people I've met/dated have had nice enough voices, when I find someone with an accent/voice that makes me melt? It's a wonderful bonus.

Always on the move

I've seen a few disclaimers saying that if you posses a certain accent not to bother....and low and behold..its my accent 😂

La la land

People's interpretation of accents are odd though. Non-welsh people expect that I have a valleys accent, even though my location is not in the valleys. Whereas Welsh folk don't tend to guess what I sound like.

I'm not fussy with accents, but I am with the tone of someone's voice. It's a deal-breaker for me.

My accent is a 'surprise' to most but I've never had any complaints about it. I certainly wouldn't advertise where it's from beforehand though.
