People are wyrding today.

They're "there", but it feels like only 80% of their usual self is there.

Out of kilter, not their shiniest 80%.

That sort of thing.

Just me, or is anyone else getting it too?

I suspect everyone is just staggering to the finish line at this point. A lot of social batteries running perilously low right now.

Good comments - thank you.

Deffo impending full moon effects and Xmas fatigue.

It still seems a bit "extra" on top as well though.

Weird of the wyrd...

See my new thread. I'm pissed off. And no idea where to start with the frikkin' PIP that I've deliberately not started for 7 years.

Yeah but pissed off is your current default setting for everything.

I'm talking about something "extra-normal" today.

Maybe your cleaner was the one drifting into the unusual sub-optimal zone for them/him/her?

End of the world vibes. Israel/Palestine genocide. USA handing over to fascism, anti-intelligence, handmaid's tale. Syria revolution, torture chambers revealed. French government collapse. Russia/Ukraine invasion still killing thousands every day. Labour government working hard to lose every person that voted for it - latest revealed to be trans haters. South Korea, president appears to go insane and declares martial law.

Trying here to keep life going and pretend everything is normal, but clearly the entire world is on a slow descent into madness and chaos.

Yup...all has a cumulative effect.

But it still seems a bit....deeper.

Like all the separate blobs of poo add up to "X", but somehow "Y and Z" have appeared, seemingly from nowhere.

I'll be wanging on about fractals and Hamlet next ....

There'd better not be anything in "in the air" at the airport tomorrow, other than the correctly scheduled aircraft for departure!

Is anyone walking in the air today? I'm not, obviously.

I feel about 15% today. A horrible mix of having jetlag, being hormonal, emotional and full of insecurity.

Hopefully I wlll sleep tonight and feel better for it tomorrow.

I think this time of year is hard for many people. Pressure, anxiety, lack of daylight, being led to belive everyone else is super happy, why aren't I?

Sagittarius A

If we are working to the same definition of wyrding, as in ye olde pagan meaning - then I think that's the norm for me.

But as I look out of my window at the calm wispy tree-fingers, on the backdrop of a bleakly beautiful milky sky. After the dramatic scenes of domestic bliss rupturing volcanically, across the way, and the ominous police van, I hear the words of a renowned ethnobotanist.

"Culture is not your friend. It fetishizes objects. It creates consumer mania. It preaches endless forms of false happiness, endless forms of false understanding in the form of squirrelly religions and silly cults. It invites people to diminish themselves and dehumanize themselves by behaving like machines."

And I know am contemplating whether I am feeling a little more today, than most others.

I very much see that every year, so I definitely agree.

But...there's something "extra" in the mix today.

Less so now, 4pm, but from 9am to 3pm the day felt "out of joint", removed from its usual place in reality by a few tilts and degrees.
