What is the most disappointing thing you have put in your mouth recently?

Mine was a 'crodough'. A deep fried PUFF PASTRY sugared donut. Just meh.

Sourdough crumpets, I didn't read the label before buying them, I wondered why the toaster smelled funny.

"Most things these days seem tasteless and not like they tasted years ago "

"Shrinkflation" companies use less materials then charge the same or more for their products.

I hope they were clean!

Did they get what they wanted?

I'll have to remember that method

"Mr Kiplings Festive Bakewell...😕 Meh..."

I stopped buying Mr Kipling products a couple of years ago when the prices sky rocketed and the taste was just average mass produced pastry.

I don’t like sweet cakes or pastries tbh and find I’m eating more local meat direct from the farm these days

There and Here

The brandy cream I put on a mince pie yesterday evening. It was like being hit in the face with the bottle of brandy. Far too boozy, no subtlety and completely overpowered and ruined a perfectly decent mince pie. Bleurgh
