That feeling after a fresh haircut...

That feeling after a fresh haircut that makes you look in the mirror and be like "damn good looking, there you are! Where have you been? I missed you!"...that feeling after a fresh haircut where the handsomness of your face just pops OUT like "BOOM in yo face!!!"...that feeling after a fresh haircut where the Johnny Bravo in you comes out and makes you want to call the police, and report a handsome man in your house, because no way that can be you... theat feeling after a fresh haircut that makes you want to wear a hat outside, not because it's cold, but because the world could not handle this much handsomness...enough to make a grown man cry 🥲

I know some of my fellow gentlemen will recognise this feeling, but I'm not sure if women ever get like this after they pay £50-£100 to a hairstylist to cut half an inch of their edges 👀

Guys I know "life" on fab is shit for most of us ...but sometimes being a man is just the best

I love that feeling, good cut, maybe colour added as well, always feel good after, though will never look like it when I do it! x

I shave my head. No shampooing or conditioning for me. A quick wipe-over with a damp dish cloth and I'm good to go.

I fuckin LOVE coming out of the barbers shop, fresh from a cut, a shave, a shaping of the beard. I feel my most handsome for a few fleeting moments.

I look devastatingly good at that point.

Oh I announce that it is haircut day to anyone that will listen (even if they won't).

I then pray that my barber is open, because he is a twat since he owns the damn place just opens whenever he feels like it. Then a decent hair cut happens throws in a beard trim or tidy of ra total of £13 and I'm on my way feeling good.

Until the fucking freezing cold air whips around and hits me in my now trimmed scalp areas and I miss the warm before my hair cut. But I still look partially decent so I power through.

Newport area.

I shave my own bonce, when and if it needs doing. I do feel a lot fresher once I've done it.

I totally agree with this and at 14£ a cut, it's a veritable steal 😁

Haha it is a great feeling especially now I’m grey having the sides shaved down to the skin knocks ten years off always feel much better after a hair cut

Great feeling in the summer as well if haven’t been for a bit and side hair is thick and as soon as start with the shavers and the breeze from the open door hits head is amazing feeling

I leave the barbers with tears in my eyes…

because as well as my haircut I have my nostrils waxed…

When I come out of the barbers I am exhausted and annoyed from the incessant small talk, and still trying to recover from staring at my face for half an hour in those unforgiving, well lit, barber mirrors.

Love a fresh skin fade and beard trim/line in. Does make me feel good well worth the money.

If I may....

There is something incredibly sexy about a man with a fresh cut. I am wondering now if it is because they are feeling the way you discribe OP.

Maybe they are radiating a new confidence.

I get mine cut once a year and it cost me £10.

I'm more a fan of the disheveled look tbh op.

I can't remember this feeling! Haven't had my haircut for almost two years.

This is how I feel... https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGdMCoSDW/

Why not save the £10 and just DIY ✂️⚔🪓🪚

I absolutely love getting my hair cut and coloured... especially as my stylist does the most amazing scalp massage ... it wouldn't be the first time I've fallen asleep in the chair 🤣

Fuck yeah dude 🤜 🤛

A fresh cut, skin fade, trimmed beard with the straight edge razor creating those angles. 💈 👌

It may cost us a weeks rent to get a cut and colour, but at least we can swish it around, and pretend to be all fancy and mysterious, before we try and recreate the look at home.
