Evesham

Elvis is my favourite artist.

Outside of his songs I'm going to go with the Great Pretender and At The Hop.

I got into The Soul Stirrers through my love of Sam Cooke.

"That's All I Need To Know" is one of my all time favourite songs

Words of Love - Buddy Holly

I do like a bit of The Everly Brothers and some Fats Domino, too. My dad played a lot of 1950's records when I was little.

"Chuck Berry or Little Richard... Clasics

"

If you like Little Richard and you have a spare 10 minutes, take a look at this BBC archive piece

He was certainly an individual

Good to see someone else appreciate The Ink Spots, my favourite is I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire.

I’ll add Gerry Lee Lewis although my favourite track of his was not a 50’s song it was a cover from much later.

Also add Lonnie Donegan - Wabash Canonball and Nobody’s Child.

Sam Cooke is the best, touch the hem of his garment with the soul stirrers is fantastic, my favourite Ronnie wood quote ( which may be apocryphal ) is Sam Cooke is the singer the rest judge themselves against most go back to pumping gas
