I don’t do angry with people

I do angry with myself for allowing the situation to have happened

In that case I cycle. It clears my head. Even on my spinner.

It depends how angry

If I’m really fucking angry I’ll go silent and just cut everyone that’s the focus of my anger out. Done.

If I’m just mildly pissed off, they’re about to learn why

I go quiet. "Dangerously silent" is how it was once described to me by someone who was more inclined to shouting and banging things around when angry.

Either stew quietly or lose my temper in a thermonuclear fashion.

I try the ABC 123

A - Activated, what's brought it on.

B - Belief, whose right or wrong.

C - Consequence, what outcome would arise if you lost it.

Then count to 3.

Anger management.

Takes a while of pushing my buttons but when I snap I blow up and lose my shit. Then I take myself away until I've calmed down and mulled it over. If I was unreasonable then I'll come and talk. If they were then I'll sulk until they make the first move.

Depends what type of angry. I rarely get properly angry but I will usually go on the front foot if it happens - it can either be action orientated or shouting orientated. Either way something will happen.

Depends who I'm angry with. Kids I count to 10 before I let them know why I'm angry. Adults I tend to avoid confrontation when I'm angry because my brain doesn't work and I can't say what I want and end up crying. Or I shout and say something downright hurtful that I don't mean. I don't tend to get angry very often but I almost left my job last time I did but I still avoided confrontation with the person causing it.

It takes a lot to make me angry, and it happens rarely. Ailsa is the only person who has ever seen me. I can shout a bit, say things I don’t really mean. It goes quickly, and because it’s not a natural state for me, I get really tired afterwards. Anger is exhausting.

If it’s a minor thing I’ll have a little strop that lasts like a minute and then I’ll realise I’m being a brat and laugh at myself

If it is a proper hard anger I totally shut down and go silent to give myself Time to process
