After the race in Miami it was a good season. At least there was uncertainty as to who might win each race

Very happy for McLaren getting the constructors championship. Just need Williams to start performing again.

Was alright eventually.

Runaway start by Red Bull, thankfully halted by McLaren & Ferrari to make the rest of the season kinda interesting.

I’ll be more interested to see how long it takes this thread to descend into the usual chaos of MV vs LH vitriol.

I’ll also be intrigued to seen how the FIA deal with stewarding and race direction. It’s been pretty inconsistent at times, with some really petty stuff punished one week, ignored the next. A full time stewarding team needs to be employed. The same guys making the decisions, week in week out.

Charlie Whiting has left a huge gap which is still to be filled satisfactorily.

The nature of the 2nd half of the year leaves intrigue.

Will Lewis adapt to Ferrari well?

Can any team sustain a full season long challenge with Red Bull?

How will Adrian Newley’s genius be applied at Aston Martin in readiness for the 2026 season regs?

How long will the new blood be given before teams bring the likes of Bottas and K’ Mag’ back to seats?

The second half of the season rekindled my(Mr) love for F1

Some big questions need to answered on stewards decision making. There’s standout moments going back to beginning of F1, but there were some howlers this year.

For LH - I hope the car can be developed over the winter. The base is strong for CLC and CS and now to adapt for LH

Aston Martin - This will be interesting. They are throwing money and the best resource at it. BUT LS is the absolute weakest link in that team. Needs dropping. Pointless putting in a test/development role; he needs stabilisers!

Let’s see what the Abu Dhabi test delivers

Finedon ,

Another nail in the coffin of F1. it is now all full of backbiting and bitterness.

My memory harks back to watching my first ever Grand Prix in 1972 at Spa and many more after that when F1 was sport not the business it is today.

Pleased to see McLaren offering up a decent car, with Norris getting more experienced he could be a serious challenge for the title. I’ve been a fan of MV but he’s causing too many incidents now and I’m fed up of his moaning.

I’d love to see Williams doing more, there’s a few drivers that just aren’t up to it and Colapinto is one.

I think Williams are pinning all their hopes on the Mercedes engine for 2026.

Read a blog yesterday that Max is the first driver in nearly 2 decades to win the championship without the best car, lol , someone must have forgot about the 1st 2/3s of the season.

Can't wait to see Smooth operator at Audi, he and Hulkerbeeeerrrggg will make a good team I think ,Williams benefit from having a top driver in the meantime.

Some of the new blood drivers aren't quite upto it at the moment.

It will be interesting to see how Red bull develop for next year and who ends up in the 2nd seat.

He’ll win the best facial hair award.

It has been a great year. McLaren and Max deserved to win their respective titles. Lots of different drivers on the podium. The rookies have arrived and made a mark.

Next year will be super interesting.

Disappointed with checo and yuki, I guess the teams aren’t interested in drivers who cannot immediately deliver trophies, I think red bull concentrated on max and max only and left my favourite Mexican out to dry, however you won’t find a better wet weather driver than MV

Also the media (sky mainly) need to be careful about stirring the pot too much and making many mountains out of non events, it’s a car race, let’s watch them race and a good many pundits opinion needs to in the bin

For me it's been an excellent season, driver title in doubt up until Brazil, constructors title in doubt until Norris went over the line, highlight for me... Norris Miami, Hamilton Silverstone & LeClerk Monaco

Red bull were quicker until mclaren brought their upgrades to Miami, which was round 7. So for 18 of 24 races rb were not the fastest car.

Max has drive well, but has been massively helped by the fact Mercedes, Mclaren and Ferrari have all taken points from each other rather than having just one rival team.

Ooh.. actually for a season we could all have written off after the 1st 6 or 7 rounds of red bull dominance… it’s been a bloody good year! I am really confident we could actually have a 4 team championship next year!

So… high points… lando winning in Miami (although at some point he is going to have to stick up for himself rather than being maxs best pal!) Hamilton at silverstone, lecerc at Monaco

Low points.. max being max and driving people off the road without getting the punishment he should have! Austria!

See you all in 14 weeks!! St.paddy’s weekend in OZ!
