I woke up at 4am to a text from my boss saying there was no power at work. Yay I thought, a day at home.

But no, the power is back on.

I had to drive 20 mins out of my way to get to work because the road was closed due to fallen trees, just what I needed for a 6am start and not much else to look forward to really

Work won’t mind as I’ll just have to stay slightly later, benefits of flexi time, but frustrating to add to my already existing frustrations
