Is anyone else a fan of full body training?

I've tired upper/lower, push/pull/legs and others but I find nothing feels better than full body.

What's your favourite split?

Somewhere

PPL, unless your training 6 times a week your only hitting each muscle once a week or just over on average. 6 times a week training hard at or near failure isn't sustainable in the long term.

Full body I just don't enjoy.

Upper lower strikes a good balance between frequency, can hit each muscle twice a week and recover well.

I used to always do full body workouts mainly concentrating on the 3 big lifts (squats, bench, deadlifts). Got to natural powerlifting competition level for my body weight class. It’s does take its toll on your joints when you lift heavy over a number of years. I do miss ripping weights of 200kg plus off the floor.

Now I still do full body workouts but with lighter weights concentrating on achieving a burn and a pump in the muscle. One month i emphasise on legs, the next chest and back and the next arms and shoulders. It works for me. It doesn’t give me the strength I once had but it works for aesthetics.

Central

I generally enjoy full body workout the most and seem to benefit from it, more than split routines. I'll typically feel the most exhilarated, my whole body feels good throughout and I feel wonderful.
