There’s something very comforting about snuggled in bed heading it all outside. Hope everyone is safe and well, take care all x

I love being snuggled up while the winds howling outside.

I do worry about anyone who is in danger from it though.

In my idyllic mind everyone is tucked up safe and sound, enjoying the warm comfort of their bed.

As someone who’s driving pretty much coast to coast today…

England. Extremely wet. A bit windy.

East Wales. Sunshine (I kid you not. For a least 10 mins) and very windy.

South West Wales. Dry. But don’t go out unless you have to. Devastating winds. And a LOT of damage/fallen trees/closed roads.

couple, us we him her.

Guessing we are going to have to postpone our weekend walk was due an 8 miler tomorrow across the south downs.

Don't mind the rain and cold but flying debris can be fatal and also not a fan of people who put themselves in harm's way and then have to get rescued by people who are in harm's way,so I'd be a hypocrite to go out tomorrow and do exactly that.

Maybe go for a swim instead (pool not ocean)

As ever, it is extremely difficult to understand the power of storms the country faces, when living in (mostly storm free) London. There has been a some rain and a some wind, but nothing dramatic. Hope everyone is safe though.

** update ** The wind has now blown over a flowerpot of mine. So, its now easier to show solidarity with the west if the country!

The vast majority of trains have been cancelled round here, there's a fair bit of flooding and lots of minor damage to buildings, trees, fences etc. We've still missed the worst of it though. The North Wales coast has taken a pasting.
