There is a pub near us that has strippers. There are very few pubs like that left now. You only seem to get strippers in gentlemen's clubs these days. I much prefer the vibe of a pub. Luke

There were two pubs near where I worked and lived, one each, that had topless barmaids.

Close to work was Friday lunch time so I raced there for lunch, close to home was Thursday evening, so I’d ’pop out’ for a cheeky one or two.

I've never, ever heard of strippers anywhere other than in specific types of club. Or the type who remove wallpaper from walls - generally found in residential dwellings that contain wood chip.

The White Horse if I remember rightly. I never went there but I heard about it. It closed a few years ago.

Loved seeing local girls in the local nightclub doing wet tShirts. My wife went to some of the stripper nights, used to be a big thing. And smokers nights down the rugby club where we would have female strippers after the game

It was commonplace in the 70's. Often the women were attractive in the bosomy way of the times. However, the pubs themselves were usually spit and sawdust.
