Guinness, favourite drink, but I don't drink much. If your landlords are running dry we got plenty across the pond in Ireland.

It's a short trip to Belfast, Dublin, Cork, so why not?

Guinness is Ireland is brewed at St. James' g

Gate. It's traditional to ask for a pint of "Liffey water" in some pubs in Dublin. Let's them know you know your stuff! There's a specific stream that's used in Guinness for their brewing and then it flows into the liffey.

Prize for who can name the stream!

First drink I ever bought in a pub was Guinness.

I had no idea what beer to ask for but I remembered seeing an advert on the side of the local buses saying 'Guinness is good for you', which I assumed was true.

Actually, what it really said was 'Guinness es bouan pour tche' but I've translated the patois for those who might not have understood that!

it's the behind the scenes that make the difference, keg distance from tap, temp of line is constant or not ,lines cleaned often or not, glasses are correct and clean and dry, all these things add up, remove one you have a less than good pint.
